Skills Builder

The Skills Builder Universal Framework shows how to build essential skills at every stage of life. It consists of eight essential skills that we cover with children, explicitly teaching the skills and incorporating into other areas of the curriculum . We have been looking at a skill each week and pupil's demonstrating this skill may be recognised in celebration assembly. Examples of the skills have been incorporated into the whole school Monday assembly. As part of the project, we can access many online resources and lessons to support the children. The programme has been developed as progressive and sequential and aspects of each are broken down into smaller parts. 
We are currently working towards our Gold Skills Builder Award.
