Nursery Admissions

Nursery

 

The Chorleywood Primary School Nursery is a part time mornings only Nursery that runs from 9:00 -12:00 Monday to Friday.  We offer 15 hours childcare, allowing children to attend Nursery for a total of 15 hours per week, from 9am to 12pm each day. Please note, we do not currently offer the 30 hours free childcare.

 

We also run a lunch club where the children can stay until 1.00pm and eat either a school prepared sandwich lunch, or a packed lunch brought in from home.  The cost per session to attend our lunch club is £6, plus £2.95 if the school prepared sandwich lunch is required.

Children can take up a free 15-hour place in our school Nursery in the September after their third birthday. 

 

Working families who meet certain eligibility criteria can claim an additional 15 hours of free education and childcare a week - 30 hours in total.  You can check your eligibility for the 30 hours through:

Offers made to parents via email 10 March 2025

PLEASE NOTE THAT ATTENDANCE IN NURSERY HAS NO BEARING ON BEING OFFERED A PLACE IN THE RECEPTION CLASS - APPLICATION TO THIS CLASS IS A SEPARATE PROCESS WHICH IS ADMINISTERED BY HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL.
