The Chorleywood Primary School Nursery is a part time mornings only Nursery that runs from 9:00 -12:00 Monday to Friday. We also run a lunch club where the children can stay until 1.00pm and eat either a school prepared sandwich lunch, or a packed lunch brought in from home. The cost per session to attend our lunch club is £6, plus £2.40 if the school prepared sandwich lunch is required. Please click here to view a typical day in Nursery. Please note, we do not currently offer the 30 hours free childcare.

The Education Department produces an information pack which informs parents how to apply for a Nursery place and this is distributed through the Health Trusts via your child being registered with a local doctor. If the number of applicants exceeds the number of places available, places are allocated according to Hertfordshire’s admissions criteria.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ATTENDANCE IN NURSERY HAS NO BEARING ON BEING OFFERED A PLACE IN THE RECEPTION CLASS - APPLICATION TO THIS CLASS IS A SEPARATE PROCESS WHICH IS ADMINISTERED BY HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL.
