Year 6

The teachers in Year 6 are Mrs Pearson and Miss Kirby. Our teaching assistants, Mrs Bulley, Miss Leete and Mrs Wilson support us with our learning each day.

Year 6 is an important year, when the children are preparing to move on to secondary school.  As a result, the children take on extra responsibilities: helping in other classes, taking on jobs around the school, and leading pupil voice groups.  They become more independent and concentrate on how they can become better learners.

During the year, the children take part in many exciting events.  In the summer term, they go on a school journey and perform in a production, to name but a few.

In Year 6 we work hard, and we make sure that we have fun too!
