In January 2009, we at Chorleywood Primary School formed our very own ECO TEAM. Two children were chosen to represent Reception to Year 6 and together we decided on a plan of action.
We did a whole school assembly about how global warming threatens polar bears in Arctic regions which inspired everyone to think about and do their bit to save the planet.
Now, in 2019, we elect our new ECO TEAM class representatives. We meet monthly and discuss issues that we consider important, not only here at school but within our local community and beyond. We all share a genuine passion for the world we live in and are thrilled to be able to dedicate some of our time to the environment.
September 2019 brought 14 newly elected members to our ECO TEAM (see below). We are interested in maintaining the natural beauty of our amazing school grounds and want to inspire every child to be aware and participate when it comes to keeping Chorleywood Primary School as beautiful and natural as possible.
As the year goes by we hope to have many more exciting details to share with all of you.
