Tag Rugby League Competition

On Thursday 19 March, children from years 5 and 6 took part in this year’s Tag Rugby League in a one-day competition. The children have been practising well during Monday’s Tag Rugby Club and during lunchtimes with Mr Rasheed. The team faced tough competition from local schools: Maple Cross, Christchurch, The Russell and Sarratt.

After 3 wins and 1 draw, Chorleywood finished top of the table and became champions of the league!

The team are also taking part in the Saracens Tag Rugby Festival after Easter where they will face 20 other teams from the Three Rivers and Watford District. We won this festival last year so we hope to emulate last year’s success!

The children involved were: (Year 6) Oliver F (Captain), Fred P, Deryn F, Ethan A, Adam R, Harley S, Harvey B, Harry R, Eesa K. (Year 5) Sasha S, Ella H, Olivia N, Ava B-C, Josh B, Christopher L and Louis B.
