We are delighted to be able to confirm that we have introduced a new breakfast and after school club available to all pupils attending Chorleywood Primary School from Reception to Year 6, term time only.
Our breakfast club runs daily from 7.30am-8.45am, where we offer a flexible drop off and all children are provided with breakfast during this session.
Our after school club commences immediately after school and runs until 6.00pm. Collection can be made anytime between 5.00pm and 6.00pm, unless prior arrangement to collect earlier has been made. A snack will be provided during this session. On the last day of term where we would normally finish at 2.00pm, the after school club will run from 2.00pm-4.45pm.
The cost of the sessions are as follows:
- Breakfast club - £5.00 per session
- After school club - £10.00 per session
Payment covers all activities and includes the cost of a snack. If your child arrives later than 7.30am or leaves before 6.00pm, the same charge will apply. For any child collected beyond 6.00pm, a £15 late collection fee will be charged and should this be a consistent occurrence, sadly you will not be able to book further sessions for your child.
Individual dietary requirements are taken into consideration when planning our menu for these sessions.
The emergency contact number for the Rainbow Wraparound is 07841 660401, which you will be able to access from 7.30am-8.45am and from 3.15pm-6.00pm. This number is purely an emergency line for parents with children at our wraparound care. For general enquiries, these should continue to be made via the main school office.
Any booking cancellations will need to be communicated via our current admin email – email@example.com. Due to planning, a minimum of 7 days notice must be given when cancelling a space or full payment will be retained. There will be no reimbursement of fees for absence due to illness or other family circumstances that prevent your child from attending. Should the school have to close unexpectedly then you will be entitled to a full reimbursement for those sessions.
Sign up is being managed via School Gateway where you have the option to book as many sessions as required and spaces are released half termly. Booking is extremely flexible and no commitment is required for the same days/sessions each week.
To make a booking, please go to the clubs section within your School Gateway account, select either the breakfast club or after school club options, select “make a booking” and from here you can select the dates required. Within the club options, you are also able to view booked sessions at any time. Payment is required at the time of booking and bookings can be made via this method up to 7 days prior to the session taking place. If you would like to discuss payment options, please contact our School Business Manager, Michelle Coomber. We are in the process of registering with HMRC to accept childcare vouchers and as soon as we are in a position to accept these, we will communicate this to you.
There are a maximum number of spaces each day, so early sign up is advisable as places are allocated on a first come first served basis. If you require a booking within 7 days, please contact the school office and they will be able to confirm if a space is available and book this for you. If your child has dietary requirements and a place is required last minute, you may be asked to send them with a snack as menus will have already been planned the week prior to this.
Only available sessions will be shown. If you require a date that is not showing as it is full, please email us with the dates required and you will be added to a waitlist. We will be reviewing our current staffing regularly in relation to demand and we will be able to adjust our staffing levels to be able to accommodate your child if it is financially viable.
